Hi I’m Isobel

Covid turned my life upside down. I finally had enough and now I am taking my health and my life back. It’s been a long and windy road with many hills to climb but I am slowly finding my true holistic health. Jump on in, come along for the ride and learn along with me.

After dabbling in health and wellbeing for many years, in 2024 I moved to Bali to study to health, Yoga, and Reiki full time. I completed my 200hr Hatha | Vinyasa in June, level 2 Reiki in October, and I am on my way to becoming a PREKURE health coach to help people find what health looks like for them.

The end goal of health and wellbeing is to live a happy and fulfilled life.

I’m taking clients for my training hours if you are interested in taking the first step on your health and wellbeing journey.

Founded in nz, Ora plays on the Māori health model. Looking through an indigenous lens for holistic health and wellbeing, comprising physical, mental/emotional, social, and spiritual; aka the being as a whole. Not only do you matter, all of you matters. At Ora, we believe that everything is interconnected; to heal one aspect is to heal the whole.

We are aligned with a new shift in the collective towards holistic healing and lifestyle medicine as the solution. Current medical systems are failing so many. We live in a pandemic of chronic illnesses, where our current health model are reactive systems catches illness all a bit too late.

Similarly, we are seeing a gap in holistic medicine, operating under a model of let’s give you a pill but make it natural. Supplements are only a very minor subsidiary to the solution.

Lifestyle medicine and prevention is the cure. Such a shift is extremely daunting, but we are here to guide and support you along every step of the way. At Ora we are proactive and protective. We build your resilience to put you in the best possible position to face the challenges that come along with age, stress, and life in general, to enable you to not only live longer but to live better. 

Beyond this, guiding you into your best health and wellbeing, creates space for more. To chase your dreams, to grow and expand, to re-find joy and pay forward healing collectively.

Breathwork and Meditation

Two limbs of yoga, two fundamental aspects of health, and two of my favourite things! Both of which are free and can be done anywhere, anytime.
Breathwork consists of many modalities or techniques of breathing to physiologically shift your nervous system, get you into your body and build your life force. It can be stimulatory or down-regulatory. Breathwork was such a game changer for my health journey to get me out of fight or flight and give me a new sense of vitality.

Meditation is so much more than sitting still trying to empty your mind. It is a beautiful, although sometimes triggering, journey of self discovery and tuning into you. My favourite meditations involve deep visualisations, connecting to my inner voice, physical sensations, and energetics. Join me to relax, restore, realign and reinvigorate through breathwork and meditation.

Nature Gazing

When we observe the natural world around us we naturally feel a sense of oneness, of connection, of belonging. You are made of the exact same materials as the sky and stars above you, of the mountains, the river, lakes, oceans, every plant, every creation of our world. Whether you realise it or not you are deeply connected to this earth, this place we call home.

Notice the absurd number of grains of sand on a beach, the number of blades of grass in a field, the drops of water in the ocean. Witnessing nature is to acknowledge this incredible abundance of our world. It acts as a beautiful a reminder of our limitless opportunities in this life and the next.
